 Myanmar military forces have detained government leaders declaring a state of emergency. Myanmar was previously ruled by the military but has transitioned to democratic government. World leaders have expressed outrage and threatened sanctions.

Trump's entire impeachment legal team has resigned for reasons that are not entirely clear. The Democrats are now reportedly applying pressure to the university that issued the law degrees of the two new lawyers demanding the university withdraw their law degrees, they are also reportedly pressuring the bar to revoke their licences. This is an extremely dangerous direction which the Democrats also allegedly pursued against lawyers that supported Trump during the election fraud cases. At the very foundation of the legal system is the premise that EVERY person deserves a defence no matter how heinous their alleged crime. The Democrats, many of whom would be lawyers themselves, are deliberately trying to subvert the legal system into a Democrat legal system where the only people afforded a legal defence would be those approved of by the Democrats. This is a typical strategy of a socialist-style regime.

Biden is being accused of cancelling the pipeline to further support Warren Buffet, who allegedly donated 58 million to Biden's campaign, and reportedly stood to lose vasts sums of money from his road transport operations if the pipeline went ahead.

In Australia, journalists and news organisations have been on trial for breaching suppression orders that were in place in relation to the George Pell trials. Today, in a surprise outcome, the remaining defendants have reportedly pled guilty to breaching the suppression order. The charges against individuals have reportedly been dropped, whilst the organisations have pled guilty. Pre-sentencing hearing scheduled for 10 - 11 February 2021.

 Biden has been certified (no pun intended) as the president-elect due to be inaugurated on 20 January 2021. Over the last four years we have seen a steady politicisation of the press and of business, and that was without a Democrat majority. In Democrat run states we have already seen destructive BLM protests (riots?) and autonomous zones operate with seeming impunity. A number of Democrat members have clearly advocated over the last four years for policies that will ensure Democrat rule for perpetuity along with the destruction of the classical liberal foundation of the United States. Only time will tell how ‘progressive’ the Biden administration will last, or how long it will last before a transition to Harris. Could we be documenting the fall of the West?

COVID:   Lockdowns abound across Australia with a mix of lockdowns in parts of WA, NT and NSW and other restrictions and border closures in other states. Originally, lockdown was justified as a means of ensuring hospitals were not overloaded; however, there seems to have been a definite shift from suppression to an elimination strategy. We would never support an elimination strategy as a means to solve the road toll problem (lockdown all vehicles would work), so why is it being implemented with COVID. The fundamental classical liberal freedoms on which our democracy was built are being rapidly jettisoned in favour of the politically popular mandatory vaccinations and lockdowns.
